3rd Annual Tail-gate Service at Refiners Fire

Sunday November 23, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Refiners Fire Christian Assembly located at 3915 Hwy 72/221 East (Laurens Hwy Woodmen Building) in Greenwood SC.
Thisevent is designed to show the community of Greenwoodour ENTHUSIASM! As Americans, many of us frequently and faithfully support our favorite sports teams by:
Our faithful attendance at games and fringe dress other events; wearingteam colors; tail-gating with family, friends,co-workers andother fans,before andafterthe events; singing, cheering, clapping, raising our hands andshouting; face & body painting etc.
As fans we consider this enthusiasm! Enthusiasm is defined as: showing forth the God that lives on the inside of you!
If we can dress in our team colors and show our 'enthusiasm' for our favorite college football teams, cinderella dress up games how much more should we be able to show our enthusiasm for the God that lives on the inside of us? Mature adults revert to childhood and dress up insilly attire and rent a dress act crazyin a heartfelt attempt to support their favorite teams. But the same people have a hard time expressing that same level of enthusiasm at the church where they are members! We should be able to show the real meaning of enthusiasm at church because of the God that lives in us!
Everyone is welcome to attend this unique service! We will be tailgating before and after our 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service. Please bring your favorite tailgating foods and non-alcoholic beverages.We have provided our members with custom made RFCA football jerseysour team colors are maroongold & white. Please wear these colors or feel free to wear your favorite teams colors or jerseys!
